We are all born intuitive. It is natural, it’s a part of who we are and it’s okay to use this ability Intuition is our God-given gift it is our birthright. Intuition is our connection to the Divine.
Many of us have intuitive experiences all the time but we allow our ego to just brush them aside.
For example, have you ever thought about someone, and then you run into them out of the blue that same day? Or you think about someone and then suddenly pick up the phone and there they are?
Can you feel people’s moods before you even meet them? Have you ever had a hunch that you didn’t follow and then you find out later that your hunch was right?
Have you ever known the outcome of a situation before it happens? Do you know before the phone is going to ring before it actually rings? Do you pick up other people’s emotions?
If you answered yes to some or all of these questions then you have had intuitive experiences. This is a sense of inner awareness and it’s all part of being intuitive. It’s natural and it happens to us every day but most of us don’t even recognize it.
Intuition means as spiritual beings we are able to access, receive, and transmit information that reaches far beyond our physical body and our natural five senses. By not using these abilities you are living a life that is only half lived.
We are all born intuitive but as life goes on, we pull away from our intuition. Once we start school at around the age of seven; we pull away from the right side, which is the intuitive side of the brain, and start using the left analytical side of the brain.
After the age of seven, we are taught by our teachers and parents and others to stay in that left side of the brain. The analytical, reasoning, and judgment side. We are conditioned by society and social media to use logic and reasoning instead of our intuition. I’m not putting those things down but in order to have a happy and fulfilling life, you have to learn to use your intuition in partnership with logic and reasoning.
Once you tap into your imagination and use it you actually cross over and use the right side of your brain with the left analytical side for more accurate information.
Most of the people I have worked with over the years tell me that once they started working regularly with their intuition their soul is more alive. They have a greater relationship with their angels and spirit guides.
The first step in being able to tap into your intuition is to discover which one of the senses is your go-to. You might be clairsentient, which means you feel the guidance. ; Maybe you’re clairvoyant which means you see messages. You might be clairaudient which means you hear the small voice within you.
One of the problems I find most often with people wanting to tap into their intuition is that they immediately want to see their messages. They want to see things clairvoyantly and end up missing their go-to sense. If you feel things strongly then use that sense.
I want to make three important points about intuition. This first is, you have to follow your intuitive strengths and not someone else’s. The second is, you cannot be intuitive if you don’t meditate every day. The third is to have fun as you develop your intuition. It’s not about being right or wrong. When you learn to use your intuition you will get many more yes’s than no’s.
One of the most common questions that I am always asked: “Why would I want to develop my intuitive ability?” Usually, respond back to them with another set of questions. “Why wouldn’t you want to better all your relationships? Enhance your creative ability? Help make the most out of your career?”
“Why wouldn’t you want to receive intuitive guidance on important decisions? Develop a close relationship with your spirit? Be connected to loved ones that have passed on? enhance your physical abilities? Feel even more connected to nature and the Universe?”
I’ve said and written this many times we are all spiritual beings having a human experience. The fact you reading this means you are ready to jump-start your intuitive ability and go far beyond what you could have ever imagined.
